Thursday nights are Cruising on Mainsteet starting at 4pm & our all day Thirsty Thursdays, Buy on Beverage get 2nd Half Price, pair that with Mad Dogs $1.00 tacos for a great night. The parking lot fills up fast so get in early.
Saturday nights the music gets a little louder, the kids come out & take over the bar. Yep, my kids Kyle & Nikki will be working the bar, serving up a younger groove. Last Saturday night not only were my kids in the bar yours may have been too. The bar sang along to everything from, rap to classic rocks songs, while the outdoor patio was peaceful with warm conversation.

Hey Everyone,
Carolyn Venditto here.
Just want to let you all know that our first class back from the winter
break was a great success. We had a full
house and perfect weather for painting "Dragonfly's" on the patio. It was really nice to see
so many familiar faces, and btw… the
wine was simply divine.
Everyone did such a great job that night that it was
difficult to pick just one prize winner. So Nancy decided we should have two. The winners of the night were Andrea Hoff
& Tammy Whitaker. They both went
home with a nice bottle of ”Rodney Strong” Cabernet and a great work of art to
boot. Congratulations ladies. J

Morello Cherry Devil’s Food Cake Cupcake Recipe
This is a
simple and delicious recipe for all ages to enjoy!
1 Package of
Betty Crocker’s Devil’s Food Cake Mix
1 Jar of
Morello Cherries
4 Cups of
Convectioner’s sugar
4 Tbsp. of
milk
1 ½ Tsp. of
vanilla
½ Cup of
butter (1 stick)
Pre-heat
oven to 350 degrees. Make Betty Crocker’s Devil’s Food Cake mix as directed.
Then, puree 1 cup of Morello Cherries and 1 cup of the cherry juice, in a
blender. Pour pureed mix in with the food cake mix. Using a rubber spatula,
fold the two together until the streaks of red are gone. Then, pour the
combined mix into the cupcake pan filling them 2/3’s of the way full. Before
placing them in the oven drop a Morello cherry in the middle of each cupcake.
Bake for 18-22 minutes.
Now, for the best part, THE FROSTING.
Whip softened
butter in a bowl until fluffy and creamy. Then, add the Convectioner’s sugar 1
cup at a time, mixing continuously. Add tbsp. of milk when mixture gets too
thick. Once all the sugar and milk is added, pour in the vanilla. Mix altogether
until the consistency is how you like it.
Once the cupcakes are out of the oven
and cooled. Frost how you would like then for extra tartness add a morello
cherry on top of each cupcake, and enjoy J
